SchenkerFarms.com turned out to be one of the best websites we've ever made. Cherie Schenker, the owner, was great to work with. We developed a beautiful, easy to use online store, with customer account tools, a community and "tell a friend" links. We worked together to turn her business into an online business. Browser Wars

A good browser isn't hard to find. There are so many to choose from. The top four are Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome and IE. If your still using IE I feel sorry for you. In comparison to every other browser out there IE is a dinosaur. Forget about the constant crashes, numerous bugs and the fact that it leaves a gapping hole in your computer for viruses to come right in. It lacks so many features and benefits provided by almost all it's competitors.

First off there is Firefox. Firefox is an awesome browser. It's very user friendly, very secure, has fast load times and it's FREE. You can also add plugins to customize it and make it perfect for everyone.

Second is my favorite, Safari. Apple's browser is just and user friendly as Firefox, it has equal load times and it's just as secure. The main difference between the two is that Safari isn't as customizable. However, PimpMySafari.com does have some really neat plugins for it.

Third is Google's Chrome. Yes Google has a web browser. It uses the same framework as Safari, Webkit, and has many of the features shared by Firefox and Safari. Google Chrome is also fast, user friendly and secure. However, it's also not as customizable as Firefox and it doesn't work on the Mac.

Last is Microsoft's IE. Microsoft's browser lacks in every sense of the word. It's simply pathetic. They're make making many improvements with IE8, but I still wouldn't use it unless you had to.

The bottom line is don't use IE. You can't go wrong using Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome. So what are you waiting for? Start using a better web browser ASAP.

Make Your Mac Unique

Long gone are the days when being a Mac owner was all you needed to be a little different. Now everyone and their bother has a Mac and they all act as if they are so "special" (Well I've been using a Mac since 2002. So there!). So I figured out a way to be different again and I'm going to share it with you even though everyone will start doing it and I won't be different anymore. I'll get over it.

Have you ever wanted to change your icons? Most people know how to make a quick icon change. Just right click the icon you want to change, select get info, then click on the current icon in the upper left and paste your new image or icon. That method usually works fine. However, sometimes it just isn't enough. What if you wanted to change the folder icon system wide? That's where CandyBar comes in. CandyBar is a software made by Panic that allows you to change all your icons. I love Panic.


After you get done changing all your icons go get Magnifique for free and change the theme of your Mac. Do you ever get tired of looking at the same menu bar and dock every day? I love when Apple comes out with a new version of OS X because I finally get some new scenery. Now with Magnifique I don't have to wait for Apple anymore.

Another awesome tool for customizing your mac is iStat Menu by iSlayer. This tool displays your system stats in the menu bar. So you're always be aware of the status of your computer.

I'm using the ClearBlack icons and I did replace the folder, trash and Finder with my Matrix icons. Find more icons at IconFactory and InterfaeLIFT. The theme I'm using is Mistikons Dark. You can find all the themes you need at Mac Themes.

Put Flash On Your Website

Have you ever wanted to add animated web banners to your website? Putting some type of animated graphic on your website can make all the difference in the world. One of our new clients, Joplin Sports Authority, showed me this software called "Banner Builder" that does just that. Banner Builder is very easy to use and only cost $39.95. Plus there is a free trial. So if you'd like to add flash to their website without having to go take a college course get Banner Builder.
