From the Blog

You know that saying? “You have to spend money to make money”. I think that’s a load of crap. Don’t get me wrong, I agree you have to invest something to get something in return, but why does it have to be money. And, what is so great about money, that it’s all you’re willing to work for?

This economy is rough. It seems like prices keep going up. And we the people keep earning less. I blame it on the government and their Fiat Money. Politics aside, we can all agree it’s getting harder for all of us to promote ourselves. We spend tons of money and on ads that don’t sell jack. We know the ads we’re buying don’t work, but we keep buying them. “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” – Albert Einstein

I know it’s hard to accept that most ads don’t work anymore. I think it’s because they used to work so well. Remember when the phone book was all you needed. I wish it was still that easy. I never got to experience that, I was just a baby then. LOL!

Hey, even though I didn’t get to see the phonebook work, I feel your pain. I’m in the same boat as you. And I’m here to tell you I’ve seen the light at the end of the tunnel. And it’s beautiful! It’s the internet. Now don’t run out and use the internet the same way you used the phone book and print ads. That doesn’t work. To make the internet work you have to socialize. You need to get on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest (Pinterest is new) and all the other social networking sites. Don’t post discounts and sales. People want to be educated and entertained.

You also need to blog. Write a blog post everyday. You can not post too much. Write educational and entertaining content that relates to what you sell. And use tags. This will get you further up the google ladder. And if you write from the heart, people will build a relationship with you. BTW, relationships are what you want. Stop trying to sell things and start building relationships with people.

I know what you’re thinking “I don’t have time”, “I don’t know what to write about” and “no one cares what I have to say”. It’s free darn it! What else could you ask for? If you don’t have any money to invest you have to be willing to invest your time. Now if you have money and no time you should call us. Just saying.
